Andre Iguodala Signs a Six-Year Contract with the Sixers
August 19, 2008
The long wait is finally over. Sixers swingman Andre Iguodala will stay in Philadelphia after signing a new contract for six year years reportedly worth $80 million.
Iguodala was a key factor of the Sixers’ playoff appearance last season, their first in three years. The Sixers obviously wanted to build on their success the previous season and signed big man Elton Brand from the L.A. Clippers. With Brand in the mix, it was only appropriate to re-sign Iguodala and keep him in Philadephia.
Iguodala, a four year NBA veteran, averaged 19.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.1 steals in 82 games last season.

They overpaid him! He sucked in the Detroit series. Could’t shoot for nothing.

Highly overrated player, not worth that kind of money.
But hey, that team is very well rounded and looks to be on to something, especially considering the Rat signed with them.

F-Elton doesn’t deserve the money he got. Its funny how two clippers corey and F-Elton would be the top free agents this summer. Once F-Elton plays for the Sixers then everybody will know how much he sucks.
