The Philippine Olympic contingent suffered another setback with the loss of Taekwondo jin, Tshomlee Go.

Go competed in the 59kg category against Ryan Carneli of Australia. Carneli defeated Go with the score of 1-0.

With Go and Harry Tanamor (boxing), the Philippines’ best bets, out of the Olympics, the country’s chances of winning a gold medal rests on the shoulders of Marie Antoinette Rivero. A veteran of the 2004 Olympics, Rivero is set to face Sandra Saric of Croatia on Friday.
