Kimbo Slice TKOd by Seth Petruzelli
October 5, 2008
The myth of Kimbo Slice was finally exposed after he was TKOd by Seth Petruzelli in just 14 seconds of the first round of their fight.
Petruzelli, while standing on one foot, fired a short right hook which landed right on Kimbo’s chin. The punch sent Kimbo crashing face-first down to mat. Petruzelli followed up with a series of strikes to the head and it was all over for Kimbo.
Kimbo was slated to fight MMA veteran Ken Shamrock but Shamrock wasn’t cleared to fight due to a cut above his eye sustained from his training. Elite XC scrambled to find a replacement fighter for Shamrock and eventually picked Petruzelli.
Petruzelli didn’t waste the opportunity as he handed Kimbo his first defeat in four professional MMA fights.

Gina Carano Defeats Kelly Kobold via UD
October 5, 2008
MMA sensation Gina Carano proved that she’s more than a pretty face in the Mixed Martial Arts biz. Though she failed to meet the 140-limit for the second time in a row, she still went on to win the fight against Kelly Kobold via three-round unanimous decision.
