Brock Lesnar, a former professional wrestler from the World Wrestling Entertainment is set to make his debut fight on February next year in UFC 81. Lesnar is set to fight former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir.
Frank Mir captured the UFC gold in 2004 when he defeated Tim Sylvia. Then he was involved in a motorcycle accident which prevented him to defend his title. UFC stripped his title because of his inability to fight. He holds an MMA record of 10-3.
Brock Lesnar’s amateur wrestling credentials are not be ignored. Lesnar posted an impressive 33-0 record when he was in high school. He went on to become a 4-time All American, 2-time Big Ten Champion and the 2000 NCAA heavyweight champion while he was with the University of Minnesota. He is still a newbie in the world of MMA and he will still learn along the way. He holds an MMA record of 1-0.
This will be an interesting fight because this will be Lesnar’s debut match in the UFC and Mir is trying to re-establish his name after posting a 2-2 record since his return from his injuries.
