Bobcats Stuns the Celtics with a 95-83 Road Win

Jason Richardson’s offensive onslaught lifted the Charlotte Bobcats for the rare road win at the expense of the Boston Celtics. The Bobcats shocked the Celtics by handing them their fourth loss this season, just the second time at home. The Celtics’ other loss at home came when the Detroit Pistons defeated them 87-85 on December 19.

Richardson led all scorers with 34 points on a14-22 shooting. He also had 9 rebounds 3 assists and 2 steals. Gerald Wallace had 15 points and 10 rebounds while Nazr Mohammed finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Raymond Felton chipped in 16 points and 8 assists.
The Celtics played without Ray Allen due to a pinched nerve in his neck but Paul Pierce was unable to pick up the slack as he had an off night. Pierce finished with only 13 points on 4-14 shooting. Kevin Garnett posted 24 points and 8 rebounds in 33 minutes of action. Rajon Rondo contributed 13 points and James Posey added 10 for the Boston squad.

The Charlotte Bobcats are now 13-21 in the Southeast division and the Boston Celtics still leads the league in wins with 29-4 slate in the Atlantic division.

  1. Celtics fans are blaming the refs.lol Pretty funny.

    Bobcats wanted it more and Pierce and Garnett were huge problems in that game. The bench was the reason they were in the game at all.

    *allen was out of action..
    *garnett couldn’t carry the celtics if he’s alone..
    *the celtics roster is not that deep..
