Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants are down 0-2 in the All Filipino Cup Finals, thanks to the stifling defense Sta. Lucia Realtors. The Giants went down 112-101 against the young blooded Realtors in the second game of the series yesterday in Araneta Coliseum.
Purefoods’ James Yap and Kerby Raymundo finished with 28 and 22 points respectively but both struggled in the second half.
The Realtors opened the final period with a 12-2 run that gave them a 93-83 advantage. The young bloods of the Sta. Lucia spelled the difference in the game. Kelly Williams posted a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Joseph Yeo scored 16 points and Denok Miranda added 14 points and 6 assists for the Realtors.
Game 3 of the All-Filipino Cup is on Wednesday, February 20 at the Araneta Coliseum, 7 in the evening.
